This cache is not too terribly difficult to locate. It is right next to the schoolhouse. It you can not find it, then you are definatley looking too hard!
The box is a little white box, it greatly resembles a birdhouse (maybe because the box plans came from a birdhouse blueprint). My fellow boy scouts and I spent hours building these boxes in my garage. The site itself has a lot of historical significance in the Chambersburg area. This stone structure replaced the original wood log school in 1836. Today this school serves as a memorial to Pennsylvania's one room school houses. The adjoining graveyard is a historic cemetary that is the final resting place of 17 revolutionary war veterans, including Major General James Potter, for whom Potter county was named. For more information on the school house and/or the cemetary, please visit www.greencastlemuseum.org.
