Smithmill Devil Multi-Cache
OReviewer: As there's been no response to my earlier post, I'm archiving this cache to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact me (by email), including the GC Code or a link to the page, and assuming it meets the guidelines, I'll be happy to unarchive it.

This cache is located in the Middle Run Natural area and features a few mild hills.
This cache features all the things one would normally expect to find on a Delaware Geocache outing, mud, trails, creek crossings (2), stickers, bushwhacking, ticks, mosquitos (when the weather warms up a bit), hills, crazy mountain bikers, insane deer, cougars, a little backtracking, trees, did I mention trees and just a touch of compass work. See, nothing out of the ordinary.
The starting point, should you choose to accept is, on Smithmill Road.. Smithmill runs off of Polly Drummond Hill Rd./Ebenezer Church Rd., take your pick. I parked near a small bridge N 39 43.434 W 075 43.093, or you can drive to the end of the road and park at a small pull out area and hike back. Take the Middle Run Cutoff trail roughly southwest up the hill. At the top of the hiil you will find a "T" intersection with the Lenape Trail. Take the branch that will lead you south along the Middle Run Creek to your first stop, about .12 miles. Your first stop is: N 39 43.347 W 075 43.116, at this spot the trail jogs to the right and passes near a medium American Beech. Please note the cache is VERY close to the trail, be careful not to be seen. Stealth is a must. Also don't sit in the trail a crazy mountain biker might just run you down.
The first four caches are in 2" PVC pipe containers, and all sport a camo-paint job. The last cache is in a 4" piece of PVC pipe about 15" long, also sporting a fine camo finish.
Things you WILL NEED. A compass and I highly suggest a pair of pruning sheers.
The cache contains goodies a Geocacher might want, desire or otherwise need. Geocahing stickers, flashlight, batteries.
Good luck and Happy Caching.
*SPECAIL NOTE* For some reason at stop one the coverage may bounce around a bit, ask howie 57. When I was first setting up the route I had no trouble, my second and third visits were quite different. The second being the worst. I would move my GPS about 2 ft and the reading would change about 8-10 ft. . Very unusual. I think it has to do with the small valley this stop is in. But if you forget the goto function and get your feet wet (yes a hint) you should have no trouble. Reverse the next sentence for another clue. !epat rekram egnaro eht rof kooL
