Ode to a Sherpa Traditional Cache

Located in the wilds of EP “Tom” Sawyer Park.
This cache is dedicated to the unsung heroes of the mountaineering world, the Sherpa. Have you ever slaved away at work, plowing through all the adversities to finally complete a difficult task, only to have someone else ride along on your coattails and take the credit after it is all over? Well, welcome to the life of a Sherpa. Every since Tenzing Norgay dragged, er uh..... accompanied Sir Edmund Hillary to the top of Mt. Everest in 1953, the Sherpa people of Nepal have been assisting mountaineers from around the globe to the top of the world's highest peaks. I would like to take this opportunity to recognize these peaceful, hard working people for a job well done.
You will not need a Sherpa to find this cache, but you will have to do a little bushwhacking. The cache has been replaced on 26-Feb-06, and is now a medium sized, camo'ed peanut butter container.
I would also like to offer a small thank you to Li’l AL, for her help in placing this cache. I actually thought of the idea, she merely prepared all the items for the cache, painted the cache, cleared the path to the cache, hauled the cache to the site, found the cache site, placed the cache, hauled me back to the truck after I got a splinter in my finger, drove me home and fed me, then typed all this info for the cache. Did I mention it was MY idea for the cache. You can thank me later. Hope you enjoy.
