This is the first of many caches set by the 4 Play Off-Roaders for the enjoyment of cache hunters and 4x4 explorers.
Follow the men of yesteryear on a sandy, sometimes muddy adventure through Western Nevada. Although well hidden, this cache is an easy walk for almost anyone.
Take a step back in history when people made their living and survived from the back of a horse traveling many miles in a day, only stopping long enough for a drink of water and a fresh mount. This cache will put you in a very historically significant area of Western Nevada and you don't have to haul the mail to get there.

Depending on time of year, a 4x4 may be required to get through some of the low lying areas! If your driving a 2 wheel drive vehicle with adequate ground clearance you should be fine, but it is not advisable to travel into this area after measurable moisture has fallen, and we are not responsible if you get stuck so be careful!
