A nice hike through the woods in a relatively new and little-known Volusia County park near DeLand.
Cache is a medium-sized tupperware container with the usual contents and a couple of cool antiques thrown in - stuff for kids and grown-ups alike.
Park at the entrance to Beresford Trails off Fatio, south of W. Beresford Rd. Use the red loop trail. Trail is basically sand, some tree roots line the path, but nothing that requires crawling over or through. You will move onto the blue trail at the fork, and after finding the cache, you can make the decision whether to stay on the (longer) blue loop or backtrack to the red loop trail.
The cache is lightly camouflaged from casual hikers and is easily accessible from the trail. Please watch for ticks in the warmer months.
