A walk in the beautiful area around Dybbøl Mølle - enjoy the view!
Please note that this cache requires a bit of walking as well as
paper and pencil. It has been reported that this can be tricky in
case of rain :)
Stage 1: Find the place indicated by the cache coordinates.
You will find a stone with a four-digit number which is also the
name of the building next to it. Call the four digits ABCD.
Stage 2: Go to N 54° 54.xyz', E 009° 45.rst' where x=A+5,
y=B-3, z=D, r=C-4, s=A+B and t=B/2. You will find a memorial to Mr.
von Rabenau. If his firstname is Paul, set E=1, if his firstname is
Louis, E=2, and if his firstname is Heinrich, E=4.
Stage 3: Go to N 54° 54.xyz', E 009° 44.rst' where x=B/E,
y=A, z=C, r=11-E, s=C/E and t=E. This is a memorial to HIJ soldiers
fallen at Dybbøl on April 18th 1864.
Stage 4: Go to N 54° 54.xyz', E 009° 45.rst' where x=2*H,
y=H, z=I, r=(J-1)/E, s=J-H and t=2*E+1. The plate describes the
destiny of the building concerned - the first line is "1864 -
KLMN".
Stage 5: Go to N 54° 54.xyz', E 009° 45.rst' where x=M, y=E,
z=I, r=L-K-M, s=3*E and t=2*N-K. You will find yet another memorial
to the soldiers of the PQ. regiment who defended the nearby farm.
Stage 6: Go to N 54° 54.xyz', E 009° 45.rst' where x=P,
y=C-1, z=2*P, r=Q+3, s=L-P and t=y where you will find the cache!
