Tuckerman Point aka Shoreline Public Access 1 Traditional Cache
SquareD22: After the DNFs I stopped by to check it out today. It is officially MISSING, and therefore archived. It was nice to return to the location and I was reminded how beautiful a spot it is. I will place a new cache at the location soon. Looks like due to the building in the area there has been a remake of the access path, and actually it is in better shape than before. Also looks like an organization has "adopted the spot" and have made the rocks into steps...sort of to get down to the water. In doing so, looks like the cache location got disturbed. Goog news is the area is cleaned up and easier. Can't complain. Watch for a new listing! [D]22

I am bringing you a series of Shoreline Public Access Caches. This being #1. Also named for the location. Most of these sites need some serious CITO, that is why you are going, so bring a bag and help out the cause.
Tuckerman's is a replacement cache for the one I had to archive at Sachuest Point. That one being on Federal Land, and rumblings regarding caching on such land. This one is not nearly the walk as Sachuest, but you get a good view of Sachuest Point from the cache at Tuckerman's Point, the next point to the west. Do yourself a favor when you are here, and skip on over to Sachuest and take the Ocean Loop Trail. Very worth the time, lots of deer, and great birding, also great fishing in season!
Tuckerman's is and easy find, but I have been told you should use caution here when its wet, and with little ones, as the terrain is a bit rugged. Enjoy the view!
