Geocache Description:

A cache dedicated to co workers.

All of us have people around us who inspire us, motivate us, and help us to grow as individuals. This cache series is dedicated to the family and friends, the loved ones in our lives. In each case, I will encourage you to include in your logs information about your family and friends and what makes them special to you.

It is fitting that this cache, which has been in the planning stage for months, should be placed on the day I attended the funeral of a friend and co worker. A person with whom I worked for 5 years, and learned more about in his passing then I knew while he was alive.

For most people, one third of your day is spent in the company of people you work with. Some of these people become more then just co workers, they become friends, or maybe more. This cache is dedicated to one of those people. This co worker introduced us to geocaching, which has had such a positive impact on our lives. He has threaded himself into the fabric of our lives, and we are better for it. His patience and his sense of humor make him a joy to be around. We don’t even mind much when he gets grumpy because he’s hungry!

Although this is not a theme cache, as with all the Shameless dedication caches, please leave a little of yourself. For this cache, please relate a story or information about a co worker who has had a positive influence on your life. Physical TNLN’s and Travel Bugs are always welcome

The cache is a fairly easy 1.16 mile round trip on a flat, cedar mulch trail. Parking coordinates are N30 33.648 W97 46.002 and the trail can be found at N30 33.677 W97 45.982. Enjoy your hike, at dawn and dusk, you may find deer in the field to the west of the trail on the other side of the barb wire fence.
