Geocache Description:

This cache is a short easy walk from your car. The poison ivy is thick so access from the road is not good. Go to the grave of Robert Clem and enter the woods from there the poison is not as bad. Once inside the woods cut left. Look out for the poison ivy. It was not there when I placed the cache.

This cache is named after the statue that was on the head stone near it. John Brown was not his real name, but the kids in the area nicknamed him that. The story was that the statue would come to life at night and roam around looking for people to do who knows what too. The stories got bigger every time they were told. He is going to have trouble walking now. A few years ago some vandals pushed him down and stoled his head. His feet and dog are still on the monument and his body is on the ground.
The Cache is in a little waterproof electrical box. It is very small. Bring small stuff and a pen. There is a pencil in it but you know how that is.
While you are there take a look around. There are some Revolutionary War Vets here. Take the time to read the Brown Headstone. Tell old John I said Hi.
