Geocache Description:

Cache is located in Savage River State Forest in Western Maryland. The area is known as the Trophy Trout area. The hike is short, but requires going accross a swinging bridge.

Cache container has been changed to a gray ammo can, location is the same.

The Savage River State Forest is Maryland's largest State Park! This park is the home to many hiking trails (and geocaches). The cache is a blue and white tupperware style container. The original contents were a log book, stash note, matchbox car, pocket knife, slinky, pocket twister game, expanding towel, army men, and a few other various trinkets. This cache was hidden specifically for the Maryland Geocaching Society's 2004 Cache Across Maryland event. This cache is park approved (all documents reguarding approval are available upon written request to the cache owner).
