Geocache Description:

A smallish (travel)bug house on the Highline Canal trail. You can walk a little way, or a long way to get to it (your choice).

I stumbled onto this site while on a bike ride. Since it’s on one bike path and near the intersection with another, it seemed to be an ideal place for a travelbug exchange (a natural hub of travelbug commerce, as it were...).

The “house” is a popcorn can (5” diameter, 6” tall), so it’s not the best home for really big “bugs” -- please plan accordingly. The cache contains just a log / pen, a button for FTF, and starts with a nice selection of travelbugs.

Please TRADE bugs.  Because there are no other items traded in this cache (I'll come by periodically to clean out non-TB stuff), it's important not to deplete the store by only taking bugs.  I'd also suggest you check out where a bug is going prior to snatching it.

Since this cache is on a popular trail, please be discreet to avoid being “muggled.” Also, South Suburban asks that you take care to stay as far uphill as possible (erosion is a concern at this site).

Shameless site plug

If you're planning on placing a geocache in Colorado, have I got a website for you. Please check out my Colorado Geocaching Resource Pages. I'm collecting regulations on geocaching in Colorado public lands (among other useful information) -- my site may well save you a lot of legwork!
