This is an easy 2-stage multi-cache within Lake Erie Metro Park. The southern shore of Lake Erie was at one time occupied by the Eries, a tribe of Indians from which the lake derived its name. This name is always mentioned by the early French writers as meaning "cat"; Lac du Chat means "Lake of the Cat." Many attribute this reference to the wild cat or panther; the Eries' name for themselves was "The People of the Panther."
This cache is located within Lake Erie Metro Metropark, a part of the Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority park system. A Metropark Vehicle Entry Permit is required:

This park has heavy foot and bike traffic so please use stealth when retrieving these caches
Minimal bushwhacking required. Close parking is available.
At stage 1 you will find coords only which can be obtained without leaving the trail.
Main cache is in a 6”x 9”x 3 ½” Camo Tupperware container (within 50’ of a main path)
Make sure you take time to visit the nature center, wave pool, and huge kids play area. Also take time to stop by the boat launch, which is a very popular area for bird watching. There are many nice boardwalks and paths throughout the park.
