State Road 60 just east of Magdalena, NM
The BEST time to see this natural formation is in the morning. Parking should not be much of a problem, even for a motor home. Once you are at the coordinates look WEST down Highway 60. Now look slowly to the LEFT. The virtual is near the center of the large mountain. I am told that this was seen by the Conquistadors, which were here in the 1500's. Use the hint as a last resort.
If you happen to stop in the afternoon and cannot make it out, drive into Madalena and turn south onto S. Kelly Road (the forest service station is at the corner.) This will take you closer to the mountain and you will be able to see the virtual up close.
