You don't need a 4x4 but there is 20 miles of dirt road then a hike up a steep hill
Hard Rock Mining Company is the name of our camping group. We have been camping at the base of this hill every December for the last 22 or so years.
We thought it would be fun to find out more about other visitors to this area. Leave us a note and let us know what brings you to this area.
While you’re on the hill see if you can find the two US Armey Corps of Engineers benchmarks. These may have been placed by General Patton’s training troops.
Please be prepared for the desert, file a travel plan, take lots of water, use a vehicle that can travel over ruff dirt roads, take hiking shoes and be careful climbing there’s lots of loose rock.
