This is a 2 part multi-cache. Unlike any of my other caches, the 2nd part is in a Roadside Park 6 miles (north) of the first part. I’m billing this cache as the NOrthern MOst MissOuri CAche. If it’s not, it’s darn close with the final cache being 1.5 miles from Iowa. If it’s not THE northern most, it’s certainly MY northern most, so there. Start at the coordinates above at the Putnam County Veterans Memorial on the Northwest corner of the Court House square. On these grounds is “Historic Trees – A Living Heritage Museum”. All of these trees have a traceable connection to some famous person or event.
From the Vets Memorial, walk around the Court House in a clockwise direction and read the plaque for each tree. On each plaque is a person or event that you will use to compute the coordinates for the final cache. The first tree = 1, second tree = 2, and so on. Associate the person below with the tree number.

So, if you’ve correctly solved the puzzle, the GPS should indicate a little over 6 miles to the final waypoint.
While you are in the neighborhood, there is a Subway sandwich shop across the street, and they have a nice display case full of old medical items and other antique type items that is worth seeing. Also, pause and look around at the architecture, they sure don’t build them like they used to.
