I have found three caches hidden in this manner in other parts of Orange County and I thought they were fun, so I decided it should be done in south county, too. The cache is located along an access road that is used as a bike/running path for nearby residents. The paved road is a spur off of the Salt Creek Corridor bike path and goes all the way to Camino del Avion. You can park on Niguel Road in Clubhouse Plaza and walk south to the path. If it is lunch time, try Amber's Cantina or Fratello's. Good stuff! In keeping with the name of the cache, the trinkets within at the time of placement are basically red. Try to bring red items to trade, if possible, but it is not a requirement. There is no need to leave the pavement when looking for the cache.
