The cache is a small plastic container 4” x 7” x 3” hidden in a small cemetery about 180 ft off the road.
It’s located in a cemetery within site of the Van-Del Drive-In between Delphos and Van Wert, Ohio and just down the road from Middle Point. The Drive-In is one of only about 500 left still operating ( sorry, I already claimed the locationless cache for it) when once there were over 3,000 in its heyday. I remember going to Car-Load Tuesday night movies and having a ball in my younger days. The owner also had a drive-in and movie theater in nearby Van Wert, but a devastating tornado ripped through the area in November of 2002 and destroyed both. Luckily not many people were hurt by it. He’s trying to keep this one open to preserve the tradition of Drive-Ins, so if you get a chance, stop in and enjoy a movie this summer.
Since this is located so near to U.S. 30 Bypass, maybe this could become a mini way-station for travel bugs trying to move east and west.
