Bloedkoppie Cache Traditional Cache

The cache is hidden in the Namib Nauklauft Park near Bloedkoppie. That is in the Namib Region of the park. The gravel roads are normally good, although some sections require a 4x4.
Please be advised that a permit must be obtained in Windhoek or Swakopmund to visit Bloedkoppie (as well as all the other camping sites in the park. The permit is possibly also available in Walvis Bay. Please enquire at the offices of Namibia Wildlife Resorts in Windhoek or any travel agent in these towns. It is possible to camp at Bloedkoppie and should be a worthwile stop-over for photograhers, as there are quite a number of Quiver trees in the area, as well as beautifull rocks (boulders), eroded over the years into quite interesting shapes. Petrol, water and firewood are not available in the park.
The cache is hidden in a plastic ice-cream container under some rocks. It contains the following items: two sets of Namibian postcards, matches, pen, sharpner, pencil and note book. The last two items should remain in the container.
