The battle of Tippecanoe was on November 7, 1871. The U.S. troops under William Henry Harrison engaged the Indians under The Prophet who was the brother of Tecumseh. The defeat of the Indians wrecked Tecumseh’s hope of a vast Indian alliance.
The coordinates will get you to the parking lot of this historic site. Spend some time to look around. It is the trail-head for the Wabash Heritage trail.
