Geocache Description:

Quite a nice view for a bus stop!

The cache is NOT at the coordinates above. You need to solve a math equation to reveal the true location of the cache.

At this bus stop, you will be treated a view that overlooks a portion of the Palos Verdes Peninsula and on a clear day, Catalina Island will be quite visible. The view, in my opinion, is at it's best at sunset.

Please be discreet when looking for the cache. Occasionally families will stop by to enjoy the view.
Solve for X:

4000X^2 - 84940X - 4246121 = 0

Solving for "X" will giving you two solutions (X1 and X2) that will complete the coordinates.

Here is a crude checksum to verify your answers and to determine which solution is X1 and X2. The sum of the digits for one solution (X1) will add to 29. The sum of the digits for the other (X2) will add to 16.

33 degrees |X1|
118 degrees |X2|

Note: Use absolute values (drop the negative sign/signature). Plug in these numbers you will be on your way!
