A cache to find when cycling, running, on rollerblades, or on a serious hike.
Located on the Hawthorne-Gainesville RailTrail, this cache will afford the finder a step to a great view of Paynes Prairie. We recommend you ride a bike, rollerblade, or plan on hiking / running the paved trail for a few miles. This cache is not close to any parking. This cache is another in the Ospreys' nature/Rail Trail series. You may also enjoy "Osprey Nest View" "Cardinal's Color" and "Hawk Hideaway" on the trail.
You do not need to hop fences or leave the trail to find this small container. Bring a pen.
The name for this cache comes from the fact that we have encountered wild turkey families trotting across the path and into the woods.
