The Groynes- Come again (Canterbury) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Bear_Left: It's been fun, but many things have a 'use-by' date, and this one's expired.

The outer disguise is still intact and just itching to hide another cache, so first come, first served to snaffle it and re-use it somewhere else. (An attribution would be nice...)
If you do grab it, post a note here so nobody else wastes time looking for it.

Geocache Description:

The final and least controversial of Bear_Left's "Go for the Groynes" waypoints is now a stand-alone cache!

One of the joys of setting a cache at an event is that the waypoints only have to survive for a few hours. The final waypoint of the Go for the Groynes! competition cache, however, was planned to be one that could survive in a semi-urban environment indefinitely. (A similar cache in Sydney has survived since 30JUL03, for example.) Let's see how this one goes...

If the coordinates take you to a place where you can be a swinging voter, you've hit the centre. Now you're 16.5m away from the cache! (And we can now answer that age-old question; "How long is a piece of string?")

Use of the give-away puns you'll be tempted to use in your logs will be cause for deletion and a slap in the face with a haddock.
