New York Admin: Its been far to long and maintenance does not seem to be forthcoming. I'm archiving today opening the area up to others that geocachers may once again enjoy visiting this area.

Should the cache owner repair/replace this cache within a reasonable period of time and it meets the current guidelines it may be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to Goose Pond Shelter Cache.
My second Mountain Bike Cache in this park.
If you’re on Lazy Hill Road looking for the other caches in the area, than it’s a cache and dash.
If not it’s about one mile in.

I have no idea what this is except perhaps a root caller. But whatever it is it is extremely popular with the local children and I can just imagine how many ghost stories have been told here.

Pleas re-hide the cache exactly as you found it so it doesn’t get plundered.

Parking can be at either end of Lazy Hill Road ie: Rt. 17m or LaRoe Rd.
