Palm City Explorers: After a fantastic 14 year run, this cache will be no more. It was fun to see all the different people coming to visit and their wonderful comments. But unfortunately, due to changes in the park and people stealing the cache on a regular basis, it made no sense to continue. Thanks everyone!

Geocache Description:

This is our first cache.

Manatee Park has got to be the smallest park in Stuart. However it does have a couple of redeeming features. First of which is that it is located on the shore of Manatee Pocket where if the season and temperatures are right you can see Manatees. If you head a little South you can see what the commercial fishermen have caught and if you go North you can have a nice lunch at Pirates Cove Resort and Marina. There are a few charter boats go out out from here as well so if you come towards the end of the day you may get to see what the catch has been like. Park is open dawn to dusk but the pier is open 24 hours if you want to fish. The cache is micro in size and is hidden very well. Be careful as you will be in plain sight, so you might be seen. The cache has a gift for the first person to find it. Bring a pen or pencil as the only thing in it is a small log and please put it back exactly where you found it. If you want a challange, don't use the hint as I believe it is a dead give away. We look forward to your comments.
