Cache is hidden along sparrow trail. Lots of great oaks. This is one of my favorite hikes. In the late 1800 or early 1900s a forest fire went through the area not sure exactly when. A friend of mine showed me photos that his great grandfather had taken in Portland mills. The mountains were bare because of logging and the forest fire. Only things standing were some large stumps. But today it is awesome. The cache was put out with the help of my son Jordan and his friend Aaron. Not real sure on the coordinates had a hard time getting a good reading but they should be close enough. If you get a better reading please let me know. Lots of stuff in the cache which is 50mm ammo can. Also left Sylvester the TB to send him on his journey. There is a camera so please smile and take a picture, and always tread lightly.
