Geocache Description:

Good beginner's cache, near an animal path off a singletrack trail. 1/2-1 mile walk from neighborhood park.

This is the first cache I've hidden, and did so with my energetic 5-year old son. We had a blast and hope that you have fun too, whether a beginner or a Geocaching veteran. The hike is easy, and on fairly level ground. There's plenty to see, especially in the late afternoon when it's cooling off and the animals start to come out. The cache is a smallish plastic container with a tan lid. Initial contents include a journal, an assortment of small toys, a bottle opener, some refrigerator magnets, and - BONUS: a travel bug! As always, if you take something, please leave something of equal value.WARNING: there may be some poison oak in the area of the cache, but the straighest path to the cache is clear of that pesky plant.
