Lactodorum: Hi, this looks suspiciously like the cache has gone. Could the owner please undertake a maintenance visit to check if it's there or not. In the meantime I'm archiving it but I'll happily unarchive it if/when it's found assuming it still meets the guidelines.

Geocache Description:

"When I grow up I want to be a forest!"

This Cache is situated in Swadlincote Woodlands, a new wood planted recently. It is part of the National Forest, and has good facilities including a free car park, toilets and a large wooden adventure playground. All the paths are tarmac and suitible for pushchairs.It is a nice easy walk of about 0.5 miles to the cache.

The best place to park is the car park situated at N52 46.225’ W 001 32.932’ opposite the Ski Centre on the A514. (The playground and toilets are also here) The paths in the woodland will take you past lots of wildlife, when we were placing it we saw newts in the pond and kestrels.

The cache itself is a 2l tupperware box with a blue lid, wrapped up in a black bag. The cache is just off one of one of the tarmac paths. Originally it contained glitter crayons, a mini torch with batteries, play dough, nail varnish and other little bits. The GPS signal is very good all the way to the cache.

While you are there, go to the ski centre accross the road has a great toboggan run, and you can get lots of goes for a fiver!
