EnCAMPment Cache is hidden at a part of Baltimore County's Rocky Point Park that featured an attractive circa 1800's manor house. This area of the park is used a few times each year for historical reenactments, with the "troops" setting up camp in the area.
Unlike the beach part of Rocky Point Park, this area of the park does not have any entry fee, even during the Summer. History buffs and lovers of old period buildings and furnishings may wish to visit between 2PM and 5PM on Sundays from June through August, as free house tours are offered.To get to this area of the park follow the signs for the golf course. Parking for the site is opposite the golf course, and you'll know it when you see it. Please adhere to normal park hours (dawn to dusk daily). The only time you may not be able to get to the hising spot is during the actual battle reenactments that take place a few times each year. Even then the reenactments don't take very long, so relax, watch guys shoot unloaded guns at each other, and do the hunt after they're done!The cache container is a medium sized hard plastic camo container. The goodies inside as of placement of the cache are "camp themed," in that there are a variety of items that are useful during camping trips,although other items for trade are welcomed. Only use the hint riddles if you need them, and please be sure to HANDLE THE CACHE WITH CARE AND PROPERLY REHIDE once you've finished with it. HAPPY HUNTING!
