Radman Forever: Sounds like the cache got totally wrecked. Since I am not in Ithaca as much as I used to be. I will open up this area of the trail for someone else to place a cache. Thanks to all of those who visited!

Geocache Description:

The cache is a small clear container (so bring small items) that is located in Jailhouse Trail's Tire Graveyard!

Located near the Ithaca Fairgrounds (where Ripley's Believe It Or Not! once aired a segment!) Just go into the fairgrounds and park along the road.. After finding the multi-cache here in ruins, I archived that one and put this cache out there. It should be an easy walk, but it can get muddy, and the trails are very confusing!

DON'T FORGET TO SAVE THE COORDS TO YOUR CAR!

The trails are named after a Jailhouse that was built out of town when Ithaca was platted as a village in 1855. Coords to the Jailhouse are: N 43* 16.731 W 084* 36.735. Also on the other side of the trail of the jailhouse is a tire with a mature tree growing inside it, darndest thing you'll ever see! Have fun!
