Bushwhackers View Traditional Cache

The cache is at a rock scree area accessible only by bushwhack the last 0.3mi through spruce forest,over & around large rocks. From the gate of Forest Rd 70 it is 5mi. to the cache. Excellent offtrail, backcountry skills required. The view is magnificent. The cache is hidden under a rock (where else?).
The cache container is a white 5 inch by 18 inch PVC pipe with a screw on lid. A geocache label is affixed to the outside. Contents:log book, 3pencils, pencil sharpener. For trade:Motorola 2way radio & batteries, emergency blanket, multi pocket knife, 2 wvbushwhacker custom Dolly Sods area maps(have trails & features not on any official maps).Best route to the cache:Park at the gate to Forest Rd 70 & hike south along forest road 70 to the gas pipeline swath. Turn right onto the swath & continue northwest past the road that goes left(west) to the tower (don't go to the tower). Just before the third power pole (count from the tower road)look for a rock cairn on the right side of the pipeline swath. Enter & bushwhack through the woods to the cache.Any other route is likely to be blocked by rhododendron.
