They're Real.... and Spectacular! Traditional Cache

Small town parks, they rarely get seen by more than the local residents and their relatives, but they offer unique sights and sounds. These parks are out here and as Seinfeld's Jackie Chiles says "They're real, and they're spectacular"! Here's one that will get you off the highway and into small town life.

Watson's Woods is a unique little park in Lexington, Ohio. We are down here as we travel to Columbus several times a year, so we decided to place a cache. Parking can be found at N 40⁰ 40.615  W 82⁰ 34.719.

There is a path here but it can be difficult to find and does not lead directly from the slope to the cache area. Instead of searching for it, just travel down the slope and simply follow your GPS. There really isn't much bushwhacking involved and once you find the cache you will see the trail that leads back to the slope area.

The original cache contents are:

• A log book and pencil
• 2 of our signature dominos
• A box of paper clips
• A Chicken Run toy
• A Colorado Rockies eraser
• A Garfield pin
• A birdhouse magnet

The cache itself is a small, round camouflaged container with a screw-on lid.
