The U-PACE-O Ranch monument gives a short history of the area before it was taken by squatters rights. This plaque also gives a tribute to the line of owners of the ranch and how it gradually increased in size over time. The monument is on the east side of a pole fence, do not cross over to the other side, it private property. Everything you need can be seen by standing on the west side of the fence. If you would like to claim this virtual cache please e-mail me the answers to the following.
1) Name the two Indian Chiefs that crossed the area in the spring and fall.
2) What word appears to have a bullet hole thru it?
3) What does U-PACE-O stand for? (It's on the bottom of the plaque).
Thanks for visiting our neck of the woods. J&L Lee
