Geocache Description:

Heed the difficulty rating -- I meant for this one to be tough, but fun. This is a multi-stage cache with riddles, leading you to the final cache site.

I'm trying my hand here at a more challenging cache than the norm, requiring multiple trips out into the wilds of Massachusetts to complete. I've made sure to scatter hints in different areas to nudge people along to the final spot. You'll certainly have to go home to figure out at least one of the riddles before heading out again.

Without stopping for additional clues (see below), there are four stops you'll need to make. The first one is given here, which is a micro container (small tupperware). Inside that cache is a riddle of sorts. Solving this riddle will lead you to a place for obtaining coordinates for the second cache (i.e., not to the second cache itself).

The second cache is a little larger tupperware container. Inside this cache is a riddle at where to find the final cache location.

Just take your time, think about the riddles carefully, and enjoy the hunt. Heed the four-star rating before getting too frustrated -- I meant for this to be tough (I may raise the difficulty if I get a lot of hint requests). I made a special trip to The Discovery Channel Store and packed the 2nd and final caches with a few goodies.

NOTE: The cache sites should have laminated cards inside with the riddles printed on them. If you don't see these items, let me know and I'll be sure to replace them and/or tell you what the riddle is (after I've confirmed you've gone to the location).

If you're stuck on understanding Riddle #1 (left in the first cache), I've left a clue in my logbook entry for the cache "High Flight Cache" (you'll have to go to the cache and look for my log entry there, not my web entry). I've also left a slightly more detailed clue in the logbook for "Central Mass Railroad 2". This one should be the easiest to figure out.

For Riddle #2 (you'll get this at the place Riddle #1 leads you), I'll give hints as needed (although I left a hint for this in the "Central Mass Railroad 2" log as well). This one shouldn't too hard to figure out.

To understand Riddle #3 (left in the second cache), I've left a clue in my logbook entry for the cache "The Desert (Brianna's 2nd)". Again, you'll have to go to that cache and look up my entry there to get the hint. This one should be tough.

In both cases, it's definitely possible to figure them out without the additional clues. You could always cheat and ask me for further hints, but where's the fun in that?
