Geocache Description:

A small pullout along Highway 37 about 23 miles from Libby with a historical information board.

The information board describes what it was like along the Kootenai river before Lake Koocanusa flooded the area. It talks about the history of the steamboats that hauled ore down from Canada to Jennings Montana so that it could be shipped by rail to the smelters.The cache is in a 7 inch round plastic container about 6 inches tall.The original contents of the cache are:- Electrical training software CD- Toy car- Re-freezable ice pack- Montana key chain- Hex key set- Padlock and keys- C-clamp- Small needle nose pliers- Big Sky Cachers card- Log book/pencils/sharpener
