We have set up a bank for our “Back
through the years at Bedstead Bridge” Cache, since the
years of the pennies required to log the cache are now getting into
the 1950s. Instead of making you come up with these old coins
yourself we decided to give you the option of borrowing the coin
from the Bedstead Bank, but you will have to work for it.
This is a Multi-Cache taking place at the park in front of the
building that Mike and I work out of. There are 3 spots with
coordinates on this short course that you will have to find before
you can look for the Bank Cache. You can also log this cache as a
find. Everyone is invited to visit this cache, even those of you
that already visited the Bedstead Bridge cache. We have trade items
and a log book inside a plastic container along with the Bank and a
Withdrawal Slip for those borrowing a coin from the Bank.
We suggest that you first see if you can find the Bedstead
Bridge Cache. Once you have found it complete this Multi-Cache,
take the penny with the correct date out of the Bank, sign the
withdrawal slip, and write what year coin you have borrowed. Next
put the penny into the bridge cache, sign the log sheet with the
date of the penny you are leaving. Make sure you check the Bedstead
Bridge Cache page so that you’ll know which date is next.
Please play fair and follow the rules for both caches. As always
hide the caches back good. Good luck and happy hunting.
