Geocache Description:

Located near the Live Oak Reservoir, this cache will get you up to a hilltop with great views of Chino Hills that you wouldn't normally see from any other vantage point. The reservoir and attached gadgets look like something out of a science fiction movie. I noticed a lot of paw tracks in the dirt so dogs must love to walk their humans up here a lot. If you haven't seen the movie Reservoir Dogs, I would only recommend it if you like lots of blood and guts Tarantino style.

Directions:
From Chino Hills Pkwy, Peyton south, Valle Vista right, Tall Oak right, Live Oak right. Park where Live Oak dead ends. Enter paved trail and head west for appx 20 feet. You will see the dirt trail, take it northeast towards cache. Do not try to bushwhack straight up the hill, it's bad for the bush and you will reach an impasse.

For another geopoint, hike a mere 550 feet to Carbon Canyon View cache located on the other end of the paved trail at N33º58.234 W117º44.680

The cache is an ammo can filled with a Type S Temperature Gauge, Keychain flashlight, carabiner, Nylon GPS belt case, stuffed bunny, shell frog fridge magnet and a Geocaching.com Ballcap for the First To Find.
