Geocache Description:

An easy one in the back of Gussie Field Park in Farmers Branch.

This is a small ammo box hidden in Gussie Field Park in Farmers Branch. It’s fairly easy to get to only about 10 feet from a trail, no bushwhacking except for maybe a little in the last couple of feet.

There are several approaches to this one, which is directly behind Farmers Branch City Hall, but one approach would be to park at the Cul-de-sac at the end of Leta Mae cir. at N32.55.179 W096.53.620 . This leaves only 270 feet to the cache.

Since all of our caches are named after songs, we leave you with the lyrics to “Pride and Joy” by the late great Stevie Ray Vaughn.

“Well, you've heard about love givin' sight to the blind
My baby's lovin' causes the sun to shine
She's my sweet little thing
She's my pride and joy
She's my sweet little baby, I'm her little lover boy”
