Newport News watershed between Oriana Rd. & Denbigh Blvd.
Park at Harwoods Mill on Oriana Rd. Go CAREFULLY west along Oriana to the signs for "topsoil", "mulch" and "manure". Turn right. Hike/bike/jog up country road "O3" about 0.75 miles to stream flowing thru dual culvert under the road. From here : enter the woods and on to the cache - an ammo box with a snug lid and 2 cache stickers.
Please take a trash bag - could use some pickup along "O3".
Watch out for: soft mud, large puddles , horse manure AND TICKS-take some bug repellent(6/14/04)!!
You can also get there: hike/bike thru the logged area starting at road "O5" slightly west & north of parking area. Eventually, intersect "O3".
