Geocache Description:

The Lost Twin Lakes Pathway is located in the Au Sable State Forest south of Houghton Lake.

The Lost Twin Lakes Pathway trailhead is located about 7 miles south of Houghton Lake (M55) on Reserve Rd. McDonalds is on the corner of M55 and Reserve. There is a trailhead sign and a small parking lot on the west side of the road. The trail is a 3 mile scenic loop and it passes between the 2 small "Lost" lakes. Other features of the trail are numerous sinkholes and Wolf Creek, a pretty little stream that meanders through cedar swamps. The trail is great for hiking, snowshoeing, xc skiing or mtn biking.The cache is an ammo box and is hidden in a usual manner.
