Geocache Description:

Just a short hike off the road. This is our first cache, and we hope you enjoy it. Items do not have to be Pooh related, we're just starting it off that way.

My father helped oversee an Eagle scout project where they built this small foot-bridge several years ago. The cousins started calling it "PoohSticks Bridge", and I never knew why until I asked about it when getting ready to place this cache. "PoohSticks" is a game that Winnie-the-Pooh invented. You drop sticks off one side of a bridge, and the first one to come out the other is the winner!
That was the beginning
Of the game called Poohsticks,
Which Pooh invented.
He and his friends used to play it
On the edge of the Forest.
But they played with sticks
Instead of fir-cones
Because sticks were easier to mark.

Apparently the bridge near our house reminded them of the one in the book. Imagine my surprise when I looked it up and found out it is a real bridge in Hartfield, England, near where A.A. Milne grew up. Well, we weren't planning a "theme" cache, but this was too good to pass up. We are starting out a Winnie-the-Pooh travel bug from here, hoping to get him to the real bridge in England for a photograph, and back. The cache is stocked with Pooh-related items, and we hope you'll contribute, or just stop by to see the bridge. Unfortunately, our bridge is not quite as impressive as Pooh's, and rarely is there any water flowing, let alone enough to float sticks. We hope that doesn't matter. You can see the real bridge and learn more about what is apparently a real game to many people here.

Details, details, details . . .
We've learned it pays to pay attention to the details. We've walked many a mile because I didn't read the description close enough.

You are looking for a medium size brown plastic container. The cache is on a city green-way with private property on both sides so no need to wander off the trail!
