This pendular microcache honors the owner’s return to their alma mater for the first time since graduating in May of ’71. Share the joy, share the love, and share the rural ambience of this well-appointed campus by finding and signing the log. Bring your own stylus, but leave trade items in the car or on the bike.
Due to the distance between the parking area and the cache, you may want to mark your vehicle as a waypoint in order to find you way back. This cache also honors the many students in ’71 who were “wasted on the way” and could not find their way back home.
The gpsr was not yet available to general public, let alone the longhairs and flower children.
The cache is about six inches long by one inch in diameter, altered to blend with its’ greenish niche. Please replace it as found. Beware, though friendly, campus security is nearby.
