This should be a fairly easy one to reach if you take the obvious way. Not much climbing involved and a easy short walk of about 300 ft.
You're looking for a 50 cal ammo box. Great area to explore, fish, camp and hunt. Contents to start are mostly fishing related and will get you started to catch that lunker. This is a favorite area of mine that is excellent for fishing and hunting. Many lakes nearby that provide some huge fish if you search them out. Heart Lake can be good at times too and has some very large fish. Be careful if you have children. There are many places to fall. This area was blanketed by the Mt St. Helens eruption 20 plus years ago and you can still find lots of ash in pockets nearby the cache. Other nearby caches are Canal Lake Cache and Windmills Cache. Contents:2 of my special Alpine Killer spinners.1 Pack of barbless and barbed hooks, with some slip weights1 Pack of Trilene 4 lb test leader1 Pack of split shot1 Tapered fly leader1 T-Bug Fishin Holes1 Alan Jackson Greatest Hits CD
Update 2/4/14: Replacement cache is a WSGA Green Plastic water bottle. No need to climb to the top of the plateau. Cache is accessible from the road.
