Geocache Description:

At 1787 feet, Vail Peak is the 2nd of Three Peaks.

When you leave Las Trampas peak and head back you will come to the Ridge Trail. Take this to Vail Peak. This is one of the best trails I have hiked, not just that you are literally hiking the ridgeline but also for the flora and fauna to be found here. It is quite beautiful. This cache is the most challenging of the Three Peaks and if you are going to catch some poison oak or pick up a hitchhiker (ticks) this will be the cache most likely to do it, but with proper care, you should be alright.
