Sylvan Solace is a wildlife trail located just outside of Mt. Pleasant on Pickard Rd. Between Winn Rd and Littlefield Rd. This is a great place to take a walk , but remember no pets are allowed.
Park in the parking lot at N 43 36.686 W 084 56.388 and walk on the trail. Follow the blue arrows. The cach is .46 miles from the parking space. When the trail makes a sharp right towards the river, go straight on the smaller trail. Go up the hill through the parted downed trees. The cach will be in the woods to your left. It is an Ammo box. Inside are lots of goodies - USA pencils, a pair of camoflauge gloves, 6 USA magnets, a deck of cards, a headband, an eraser, a party lei, a NASCAR matchbox car, a slippery water snake, and a package of glow sticks. Just remember if you take something leave something behind, but always log yourself in the logbook.
