Three Peaks - Eagle Peak Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nomex: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

At 1720 feet, Eagle Peak is the 3rd of Three Peaks.

By now you are probably feeling your legs and this one is probably the most physically challenging of the Three Peaks and will require a little mountain goat if you know what I mean. When you get to Eagle Peak take time to find the bench and pause to take in the view, take a break, have a snack, but watch that first step in front of you, it's about 600 feet down. When you leave, continue on the Ridge Trail to the Chamise Trail and take it back down to Bollinger Canyon Road. You will be about 1/4 mile from where you started this trek. The one thing I can say is this, if I ever have friends in from out of town who are of the outdoor persuasion and I can only show them one piece of the East Bay Regional Parks, this would be the one.The original contents of the cache are as follows:1 Notebook and Pen1 Coyote Point Museum Pencil3 Gold Stars1 Pink Girls Comb Set1 Doug Clip-on1 Tabasco Red Mini1 Pooh Clip-on1 Little Mermaid1 Doll1 New York Quarter1 American Flag Pin1 Purple Bead1 Pink Bead1 CITO Bag
