It is in a fin just east of Devil's Garden Campground in Arches. Getting there is a bit of rock climbing, no ropes needed to see it. Elevation 5306'
On a fin you will find a carved bowl, one which I THOUGHT I could get out of the first time I saw it. Climbing to it does not require any equipment, my 12 year old niece climbed with me. It is a cool thing to walk around, however if you go in it you will need at least a rope, somebody to act as an anchor above, and plan on being a good climber. I have been in this a few times, and haven't yet been able to get out without equipment. Send me a picture of it (with or without somebody in it) and enjoy the hike. PLEASE DON'T SCRAWL ON THE REDROCK. Please keep in mind, for me to accept it as found I need a picture of the bowl itself, or I need to a picture of snow on the rock in the area. This will stand from April 22nd, 2008 forward. Enjoy your hike.
