Blue Devil Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Surfer Joe: loneeagle_24,

I have just been informed by the Minnesota DNR that your cache is located within the Blue Devil Valley Scientific Natural Area. Unfortunately it is illegal to place geocaches within SNAs and I have been directed by them to archive your cache and ask you to remove it from the SNA as soon as possible.

**NOTE: If you have any questions, do not reply directly to this email. Instead, email me via my geocaching.com profile.

Thanks,

Geocache Description:

This area has HEAVY brush cover. It might be easier to find in the spring or fall. Rating is for if you are looking in the summer.

**On my visit on 6 Aug 06 there is now a tree that is across the trail right close to the first stage of the cache. You should still be able to get by (through) the branches of the tree. This is a very scenic area just south of Granite Falls. There are numerous outcroppings of Granite. You get a wonderful view of the overflow channel for the river. The first stage of this cache is in a plastic screw top jar. There is a slip of paper with the waypoint for the final stage of this cache in the container. I have also placed a couple of new batteries in this cache container in case they are needed for searching for the final stage. You can park at the following waypoint: N 44° 48.099 W 095° 32.996 This cache is appropriately named because it will give some people fits. It will seem like the devil is looking over your shoulder. NOTE*** The most direct path to the first part of this cache may not be the easiest. There are a couple of trails (if you want to call them that) that could get you fairly close. Both stages of this cache are not very far off of one trail or another. Minnesota Geocaching Association
