DKFietspad
is a bikelane along the DRONGELENS
KANAAL from Vught to Drunen(/Waalwijk) and v.v.
.
Start at N 51° 40.281 E 5° 17.085 :
bridge across the kanaal.
Cross the bridge to the northbank and follow west all the way
down to the "Roeivijver".
From there on turn back on the northbank.
If you want to visit the southbankcaches take the first bridge
you meet and cross to the southbank. From this point you can follow
the southbank on a dirtroad which is partly sandy.
When done cross a next bridge to the northbank again. You may
want to stay on the southbank, which is very well possible and very
interesting, but then it is tiresome too because most of the path
can be rather sandy. Especially in summer!
The path is safe , smooth and offers
shadow, and has a total length -up and down- of some
20 km.

This cache is named after The
Isabella-barracks that are located just on the other side
of the road.
Nowadays it houses refugees from all over the
world, waiting -and hoping- for a permit to stay in the
Netherlands.
The area is shaped like a
“Lunette” with a winding moat around its borders. This
is best seen on the map.
The route has a length of about 2-3 km. and –altogether- 7
waypoints.
6 Waypoints will provide you with the
necessary information – amongst which there is an
underlined puzzle - to find the cache.
Place the underlined text in the right order to find out it's
hidden key !
You will need some imagination too.
After the given startingpoint you will
need to find the first 3 waypoints which are given at random:

At wpt’s 2, 3, 5 and 6 a fotocanister is
used to provide you with information.
Btw.: one waypoint is a about 25cm. high -more or less
white- stone pole with an inscription - AB.- on top of it.
This inscription is necessary for the projection towards wpt
5:
(2*A*AB)m. and (AB)º is the information
needed to make the projection towards wpt. 5!!
