Pam's Grotto Falls can be hiked into from the Haw Creek Falls Area on Hwy 123 west of Pelsor about 12 miles. You can also park at N 35 40.818 W 93 15.099 (waypoint provided).
This is a rugged approximately 1 mile RT hike with no trail over ridges or along the creek. This hike is not recommended to be done with pre-teen children due to the terrain difficulty.
The falls are beautiful! So enjoy the falls, have a picnic in the area, and, if you aren't too tired, explore the nearby Ozark Highland Trails.
The cache is located on the west side of the canyon, downstream of the falls and just off a faint trail. See the gallery for photo hints of the new hiding spot as of March 6, 2026.
NOTE
There is NO phone reception in this area, so I recommend you download the photos directly to your phone before you head out to search for this one. Even if you save the cache for offline use, the photos will not be available.
