This is a plastic container, (approximately 2 quart) painted camo colors. It is just a short walk from many places to park, level ground and no bushwhacking. Original contents were Kids binoculars, barrel of army solders, Tonka truck, corvette, Multi Tool, logbook, pen and pencil. It is hidden well as this can be an extremely high traffic area at certain times of the year. Be watchful for Geomuggles!
This Cache is placed near one of Salina’s nicest and busiest parks. There are several interesting things to see and do here, including a small replica of the Statue of Liberty not to mention the several thousand flowers that bloom every spring. Every June this park is host to the Smoky Hill River Festival, which attracts several thousand visitors. It would be near impossible to attempt a find during the River Festival, just too much traffic. While at the cache site please be sure to read the history of this entryway into the park, you will understand where the name of the cache comes from. Please try to find the cache without decoding the hint; it will give away for sure. Thanks, and as always have fun!
